please help message (anti pollultion fault) been flashing for weeks then desiel additive warning started had no idea not in the manual but this has been refilled but still anti pollution fault message. Fiat dealers in lincolnshire no idea what this is ...help! and where can i get a spare second row right hand side wallet seat (drivers side) cheap. (sort of broke ours)

I'm sorry coz I know this won't help but I've been getting that message myself for a few years....my car has full Fiat Service History and they've never managed to sort it out. I kind of ignore it now!

Got the anti polution system faulty notice. Same story with garage, huh! Oh yeah we need to replace the FAP system, £1,200+ thank you very much. When I collected the car the warning was still on. Went back next day, warning off but it came back about 2 days later & is now almost always on. What a joke.

My antil polution lights been on for 2 years now and only noticed a slight difference in freezing cold wether. Stay away from Fiat main dealers, they know nothing and charge the earth. It cost me £100 for oil change with filter. Never again.

thats a bit unfair! If you had done some research you would of initially spoke with the dealers DET and asked about the FAP system. This is especially vital in your case as the FAP is a non-Fiat design and there is (was) a 2day course available to Fiat techs for this, make sure your dealership has someone who attended.

Well my anti pollution light been on for ages along with the engine management light. would hardly rev above 3.5-3000 revs, haven't driven it for 3 months cos where we live is all hills. :bang: Mechanic said would need resetting etc, suggested to get some EOLYS176 which I did but the additive tank was full so deffinitly not needing to be refilled. Had diagnostics done and all leading to fuel problems but all had been checked like the turbo, the additive etc so plumped for the easy, cheapest option of MAF sensor £39.00, Air filter £4 and Diesel fuel filter £9.;) All changed within 20 minutes. Took the car for a spin et voila, no loss of power, it actually pinned me to my seat getting over 3000 revs, pulled great up hill and the engine management light reset itself after 10 minutes. :)Now I can drive again so be careful of all this crap from garages about replacing the expensive stuff. Start with the cheaper fixes first you just never know, it may solve your problem.
