hi all im new here so hope im doing this right and posting in right place i have a 2000 1.6 petrol multipla that has been serviced cam belted etc since ive owned it for approx 4 yrs its has always stalled every now and again when pulling up to a junction etc but allways started again no probs untill few mths ago when it wouldent re start left for a few hrs and all ok has now started doing this more often there are no warning lights up on dash turns over fine just wont start my big problem is the cars at my place in france and theres only main agents who ive been strongly warned off or back st freds who r great at bolting on bits but have no plug in equipment etc so would be guessing like me apart from this car runs fine apart from slight bobble when driving at speed every now and then but hardly noticable the way it sort of peaters out when it stalls makes me suspect fuel pump prob or poss crank sensor playing up but im confused that theres no lights up on dash any ideas guys pls

Hi,

this was a very long read without any dots :)

There has been some issue with RPM sensor (e. crankshaft sensor).
The engine is then rotating "healthy" but no sign of ignition.

It would be good to plug it to a computer and read what the ECU has been doing.
See www.fiatecuscan.net
