Hello...81 Fiat Spider Owner here!

Well, after spending about 5 minutes for image verification, I finally made it here and got registered.

First things first...I'm a veteran Spider owner, although I no longer have my 1976 124 Convertible. I originally bought that vehicle for my ex-girlfriend, since I had a 1986 Mustang GT which was modified and fast as hell. I didn't trust her with the vehicle (bad experiences in the past with her ;o) and she drove like pretty much every chick drives these days. AWFUL!!! So, when we broke up I let her have that car and I kept my Mustang.

Over the years, I really missed that little car. So now, my fiance and I just purchased a 1981 Fiat Spider 2000, 50th Anniversary Edition, #366 of 1000. We're located around Detroit, Michigan, and the vehicle is in California. I'm anxiously scheduling a transport of the vehicle and we can't wait to get it.

My first question is this: The car is in MINT condition. The emmission decals, weight tag on the inner driver's door, catalytic converter sticker under the hood, etc. are fading. I'm looking for a company that would be able to recreate these so that I can make the car look as original as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a company? I know they are out there (somewhere)!

Thanks in advance for the help and I look forward to sharing my FIAT challenges with everyone, and hopefully I will be of some assistance as well.

Doc

ohh and welcome aboard!

Welcome  Nice car, there seem to be a few of those in the US, my friend has one in red, he had some work done to it in NJ, can't remember where.

Great driving one, we drove it from Belmar NJ to Boston loads of times and to Philadelphia, never had any problems with it (y)

You compare that little womans car to a Mustang?
At least it's a convertible so that your panties can flop around under your skirt.
