Hello
I'm new. I live in Manchester (UK) and have an 'N' Reg Fiat Cinquecento. It's called 'Enid'.
I have VERY mixed feelings about Enid. On the one hand, I love her, she's my little baby. She gets me from A to B and from home to work and lots of other interesting places. She's travelled the length of the country with me and, mechanically speaking, has never let me down.
BUT. She has some sort of cosmic link to my bank balance. Any time I ever have ANY 'flesh' in my spending, any money that I could consider treating myself with, she flippin well goes and has some sort of crisis. She churns through tyres like nobodies business. She's gone through two clutch cables in the time I've had her.
And it just seems like every single time it goes wrong there's hassle. No-one ever has any parts in, they all seem to be 'main dealer' or 'special order' only. This means it takes twice as long, and much more money to sort her out. And she's only a little thing, and I need her to get me to work - and I need her to do my work.
I've joined this forum seeking an answer to the latest thing to go wrong with her - I will probably come across as whinging, but honestly, I'm usually quite happy and cheerful, just sometimes my little Enid drive me to tears!
Thanks for reading.
