Good morning. Just joined the forum and looking forward to other posts/stories and problems!
We have a 2013 4x4 twin air. Great little car, owned four years and just completed a 4700 trip to Eastern Europe!
Unfortunately, we have developed a transmission fault. The prop shaft has been replaced, but sometimes, at slow speeds, not only on full lock, we get a ‘rumble/vibration’ which disappears as we speed up. Our very competent mechanic, never beaten before, does not know what the problem is. Any ideas/suggestions or signposting welcome. Thanks in advance. April.

No 4x4 experience from me here..

Can you tell us more about the vehicle?
I think pandas have various kit depending on year and spec..
being a TA could make it different again

Possibly a DMF to think about too??

Hi and thanks for your reply. The car is a six speed with eco mode. My mechanic thinks it could be the transfer box, but they’re expensive at £2.5k! Second hand ones are available, but have to know exactly which part to get. Apparently, it also has an electronic element and is not the old viscous coupling which was easy to understand. We will be driving the car as a two wheel drive, but would like to have it right!
