Hi from Staffordshire. I was a user of this site years ago but have recently rejoined the Fiat family.
I have a long history of Fiat cars, my very first car being a 1988 Panda 1000S
I've now owned that 1988 Panda, a 1991 1.0 Selecta, 1995 Panda Parade with twin roofs, 1995 Cinquecento, 2002 Stilo, 2005 Stilo, 2003 Stilo, 2008 Panda and I've just bought my first Doblo.
Growing up my parents had virtually every Fiat on sale from 2000 onwards, the ugly Multipla being my personal favourite.
I've just picked up a 2008 wheelchair converted Doblo 1.4 Dynamic. Less than 40K miles from new with full service history. Looks immaculate inside and out and even has working air con! Only paid £2500 which is an absolute bargain.
I've driven Doblo vans before and know how good they are but I'm really impressed with the MPV version. I know the 1.4 8V is really low powered but with stupidly low gearing it's really quite nippy at low revs. The trade off being a screaming 4K+ revs at 70MPH
But 40MPG on a run and 36-37MPG pottering about is impressive and WAY better than my previous Grand Cherokee.
Apart from a dodgy tailgate lock everything works as it should and I'm really happy with it
