Hi. I have owned my '97 Barchetta for a couple of years but only just found this forum. Very pleased to be here.
Can anyone please offer some advice on choosing shock absorbers. Mine are a bit tired and looking around for replacements I find quite a range available. I don't want to go cheap, but not looking to spend more than necessary for a decent set . Thanks.

I fitted new Bilstein shocks front and rear about 6 years ago. Got them on a discontinued sale. I would have changed the springs as well but they didn't have any. Went for standard ones 'cos I didn't want to change the ride height. I believe that Bilstein are among the better ones on the market. Not sure if they are still available.

Full set of Bilstein B4 gas shocks from Bilstein Web site is £450 Inc delivery. Check out the website - they claim to be "the best in the world".

Thank you. I do remember Bilstein mentioned some time ago in relation to another car. I will certainy have a look now.
