Hi everyone, brand new on the site and obviously still finding my way round.
In the 'select your model' box I can see no option for the 128?
I've been slowly restoring a 128 saloon for my daughter.
Three years down the line and as we approach the final few weeks of assembly I appear to have not taken enough photos of the engine bay.
Probably because it's my first restoration and as we dismantled the car we had too many helpers who wanted to wield a spanner and not enough people who wanted to take notes and proper pictures, won't let that happen again as we have another Fiat to do next.
The two manuals I've bought don't give enough detail as to the routing of some of the coolant pipes.
Would anybody know where I could get some engine bay images?

Thanks

Javed

Hi,

Thanks for posting, I've a 1976 128 saloon.
It's all gone together pretty well but I'm struggling with some of the coolant pipes up to the heater box.
If I can get those the right way round it'll be ready to fire up.
Any images of that are would be really helpful.

Hi Everyone,

Another year gone and just as we thought we had nearly finished a possible disaster.
Just filled the rebuilt engine with coolant and water is pouring out from the head.
Block was rebored with new pistons as the bores had scoring.
Head looked good so we just re seated with new valves.
I'm taking the head to be checked but if it's badly warped we will have to swap it.
Does anyone know if the head from a 1500cc X19 engine would work as a replacement.
4 years of work hanging on this, everything else is all done.
Full body restoration, new suspension, rebuilt gearbox, with new or refurbished everything else so really don't want to leave it as it is now.

Thanks
