Hello group,
As of tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a Bravo HGT! Im well keen to get my hands on it! So far I have bought it a K&N, 17"s and a Clifford to go on next week, any other worthwhile mods you reckon I should do?

brakes

get some new front brakes, 'cos at the best of times, they're shite mate!

Nothing wrong with the brakes

This seems to be a common myth on this site. But if you service them properly they beat others to pulp.
First, ensure you replace the discs every second pair of pads. The discs get worn by the agressive pad material and go concave.
Second, replace the fluid every year. It absorbs water and boils at half the temperature after 18 months.
Third, always bed the pads in with 100 miles of varied driving with frequent, light, short applications of the pedal.
Lastly, If you drove it out of the showroom and hit the brakes hard and excessively, then change the discs and pads and start again. You'll be suprised how much metal dissappeared with the pads scraping only half the surface!
