I had the opportunity to drive fiat 127 panorama with 1.3Diesel..... the performance ! the vibrations, noise and lack of acceleration !!..... and 1.3D in panda was even 7hp weaker.... that must be a ride of the lifetime
Bad idea for a getaway car in postapo times

It still had 37hp if I'm correct, which is more than a 750, although I imagine it weighs more. No idea how more torque it produces but it seriously cant be much slower than a 750, I have to go up hills in 3rd screaming away at nearly 5000rpm to maintain the speed limit....

Raw paper data claims, that 1300D was 2s slower to 100km/h than 750ohv, and has lower power to weight ratio than two cylinder panda 30 {810 kg empty diesel}, but has 5km/h greater vmax than 750 ohv. Ofcourse if you can find straight road long enough to achieve this marvelous 130 km/h before winter

I'm not sure how different the 769 OHV is to the superior OHC I have although I know they produce the same amount of ponies. Lets assume the OHV has the same 0-100kph (0-62 in the real world) of 21 seconds, that puts the 1.3 diesel at a leisurely 23 seconds, enough time to make a cup of tea?

wonder if the JTD engine would fit the panda 4x4 gearbox somehow... ohh i shouldn't .. that would be evil..

besides... way to many electronics bolted to that engine to make it run right... mechanical everything please

Never mind the electronics, a JTD would surely rip the 4x4 box to bits.

yeah.. lets face it. a 50hp 999cc engine is enough to rip them to bits lmao
