No, racing stripes are horizontal. Those are skid marks depicting the trail that will be left by one of these.

Its OK I'm safe in my xenophobia as apparently Americans can't find England on a map of the world. I've even heard that some can't find the USA either.

By the way nice car, what do Fiat call that colour? Do they use 'trendy' names for the American colours like they do over here, they call mine chillout purple, not sure what is so chilled but hay ho.
