Well suppose I should introduce myself.
Have recently purchased an 02 plate 8v active sport. No plans to do anything overly exciting with it, it will hopefully later this year be my daughters car. She just needs to pass her test first!
Have already used one of the guides to help me with fitting an after market remote locking system. I'm also going to be using the site to assist me in replacing the head gasket as I seem to have bought a car with a blown one! No obvious signs when I viewed the car and everything was fine on the drive. Anyway it's going to give me a chance to get a bit more involved as I'm going to replace it myself. Have always done my own servicing and basic mechanical work on cats and bikes, but this will be a bit more of a challenge.
I'm from Leeds originally but live in Lincolnshire now.
Have owned a mk2 punto before but put it on its roof in a minor accident!
