I've been lurking around for a very long time (see left!) and I'm usually on the site daily, knocking around the members motors and Cinque/Sei bits.

So, hello! Nothing much more to say, except if you see a silver Sei Abarth around Exeter, give it a wave, it'll probably be me! (especially if it has FiatForum stickers in the windows ;) )

Members Motors thread will be started when I get time!

It's not hard when you know how ;) I just searched for everything, and found a solution to any problems long before I had to start posting! But then I thought, "why not?" I've built up a decent amount of knowledge, so I might be able to help someone! :D

Also, I hope to attend a meet or something eventually, and wanted people to know who I was!

Betty looks amazing btw ;) Followed that one closely over my time here, makes me wanna do a conversion...but insurance is dire for a 1.1 (I'm 19), let alone a modified car!

Ah, so we had the same thoughts initially!

Just out of interest, who are you with? It might be because I only have 1 years NCB (no fault of my own, Uni stole my insurance money!) and I can get just below £700 as long as I don't do any fiddling to the car...like that's going to happen! Most won't touch me even for an induction kit or something!
:)

Ah, that's where I got my quote, on multicar too! Looks like it'll be best! How did you encourage them to insure your mods? They were saying you have to be over 25 yadda yadda...I didn't believe them! :D

Strange, i just swapped insurance over from my punto, they asked if the new car had any mods and i just listed them off, no hassle at all

Possibly yeah, are you with admiral or elephant? They are both the same company so one might have a different policy than the other?
Not sure but its worth asking again :)
Getting quotes from admiral, but will try elephant too, see what they come up with...
If not, I'll just keep ringing until I get a friendly, knowledgeable (last guy 'Would a cam be in the exhaust?' :D) employee ;)
