Hi,
i have a fiat seicento and got a punctured tyre so called out kwik fit to come and replace it, however when they arrived he said that i was missing a lock nut and key so he could not remove the wheel and therefore ouldnt replace the tyre!!!!
I dont know much about cars, so can anyone tell me what he means? what part do i need to find? and where can i find it?
thanks

I assume you have alloy wheels, These generally have 1 locking nut each and in your booyt you should have a pack with the key for releasing it. If you dont have it then you must contact fiat dealer who can order you the correct one. Otherwise a good Tyre fitter has a tool for getting it off, but this will ruin locking nut.

Locking nut is to try and deter anyone from nicking your wheels basically. So you cannot get them off without a specially designed nut for your wheels which should have come with the car ?

Good luck in finding them! : D
