hi my name is kenneth i have recently bought an o2 plate 1.2 active sport 8v


not had any problems so far car is great fun to drive


have a small querie tho i have been looking around the engine bay and have noticed that the care has 2 lambda sensors one before the cat and one after

just wounderd as to why it has 2 and is there any benefit to this

Tidy looking punto you have there.

Can't answer the two lambda sensors problem though. Sounds strange, is one of them welded in. Perhaps someone couldn't get the last one off because of a rounded off bolt/nut around it.

2 lambda sensors means its EOBD, first sensor adjuts mixture second only monitors the performance of the catalyst.

thanks for the reply another question when changeing the lambda sensors would it be advisable to change both or just the top one

why do you want to change them for? lambda sensors are generally reliable (especially post cat) considering the harsh enviroment they are in.
