Hi there, FIAT fans!
I'm from Bosnia, and I'm usually a full-time German (MB especially) cars freak...
Thing is, some time ago, I stumbled across a Fiat Tipo that was lying in my (my grandfathers, actually) backyard for some time.
It is quite a nice car, so i decided to give him a second chance in the world...
I don't know anything about FIATs, so I came here for help.
What I know is that it is mark II Fiat Tipo 1.4 (belive so, possibly even 1.6, but that's not likely) made somewhere between 1990 and '93. (this is because I can't seem to find the papers, so until then, we can only guess. Except if there's some way of decoding VIN number, so I ca see model year and engine. Is it?)
5 (4) door model, black, special equipment, I belive, nothing except for power front windows lifters and manual tilt/slideroof. Color is dark-gray/black, very faded on the roof and a bit on the bonnet. There's also a rusty spot on the bonnet, but nothing serious.
It runs nice, so I belive there will be only minor cosmetical repairs before "sending it back into the world"...
So much from me for now, I'm going to open a thread on Tipo subforum, tomorrow or so, when I get pictures of all the flaws I'm planning to work on, and, in the meantime, if you want to ask something, feel free to...
