Hello everyone!
As I changed my status from a "guest" to "registered user" I thought it would be nice to say hello and introduce myself.
Peter, 26y, born in Poland, living&working in Ireland for over 2years now.
Driving Fiat cars for previous good few years. Started with older than myself Fiat 126p 600ccm from 1977 (my first own car!) which was absolutely AMAZING car - able to fix it with a screwdriver!
The next one was a bit younger Ford Fiesta from 1982 (my age, hehe). R.I.P - sold as junk on scrapyard - was ate by rust and almost broke apart while doing MOT. For a few years I've been using company's cars so I didn't need to buy myself a private car.
In 2004 bought a brand new Fiat Panda 1.1 Active Sky Blue. I've tinted black the whole back of the car which I think looks really nice - as a contrast to the blue body, added oval muffler tip, changed standard crappy radio to JVC with USB support (4GB pendrive RULEZ!) and just last New Years Eve I've bought and installed FUSION active subwoofer in the boot. No other changes made to the car - got few minor and 1 MAJOR problem with the car over that 4years - It's now 120k km on the clock...
Time to say Goodbye Panda...
Last year bought LHD Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 16V Starjet Emotion 95BHP with good few addons to the standard - now looking to upgrade it with a few more. Had few minor problems with the car but still have warranty and though the car is used over 2200km from where it was bought still has GREAT service cover. I must say that Fiat Airton Garage in Tallaght, Dublin has the best customer service I've ever experienced in any car dealer's garage (The list above is only a list of the cars that I owned - not all the ones that I used.)
I brought my GP over from Poland only recently - 2weeks ago - and I've visited Fiat garage today to get fixed 4 minor problems - my car was ready for me within 90minutes from when I left it in - needed parts were ordered so should be in on thursday. Absolutely no issues with warranty - no matter that it's a left hand drive car and was bought in Poland, still will be fixed. Only mechanic who was taking the car into the garage from the car park in front of the building was confused cause when he jumped into the car - there was no steering wheel ;-)
That would be enough for the moment - any questions? Feel free to ask!
Peter
