Well hello to the Fiat forum.
So, why I joined......
My wife has a Stilo 1.6 and the nearside headlight bulb went pop so, I opened the bonnet and, after 5 minutes of poking around, closed it, rather baffled.
So off to the tinternet I went and the 1st site found on google was this fine place!
After a quick search, I realised I was in for a bit of a task ahead of me..:bang:
So I....
Removed the battery cover (as per your instructions)
Removed the cover to actually get to the back off the bulbs.
Removed half the skin on my hands.
Removed the bulb retaining clip (by accident) grrrrr.
Used the "Mirror technique" to actually find where the bloody thing went back into.
Removed more skin trying to get the bulb in the right place and got my arm stuck!
Removed the bottom grill so I could get my arm up inside to replace the bulb cover. After 10 minutes of jiggling... I got it!!!!!!
Put the bits back on and TADA!!! One working headlight!
Now if it was not for all the above tips from this fine place, the bonnet would have next been opened by someone who knew what they were doing (probably to the deficit of the contents of my wallet) so....
I thought it only right to join to say a BIG THANKS...
Now, I'm going to search for "airbag warning light" I wonder what delights I will find on that subject.
Cheers folks, great forum.
