Just saying hello from me, i was at the St Andrews Italian show today. I dont actually own a Fiat but was riding shotgun with Callum (l1Mad) and is a big fan of the Cinq so will maybe take a look at one of them in the near future! This is what i drive currently though (or did drive until i started rebuilding the Mini, and MOT ran out on the Fiesta)

I'll post some picutes of the Italian day just now, let you all see. And hope to speak and meet more of you soon.

Man i used to have a mini equinox with mini spare 4 pots calipers, exhaust mani and a refurbed head from mini sport and i had the revolutions 10" rims powder coated! And some sort of stainless exhaust. I loved it, but some daft woman ran into the back of me !

Glad we got another person wanting a cento and nice meeting you both mate :) .

Ming

Aah thats nice! 10" wheels are the bee's knee's. They are good fun for sure!

Yeah if any Fiat it'd be the cento, small cars are the most fun :) Hopefully meet up with you again.

Dougie

well keep en eye out for my spare cento :D depending on what happens with it :D
weel get you in a fiat somehow :D

Welcome along Dougie, good to speak to ya on the way into tesco on the road up. Nice couple of cars there, get a cinq, ya'll love it

haha cheers for the warm welcome! yeah i'd do my best to get into a cinq! thats the only one i think i'd go for :) with an engine swap done already maybe? got a lot on my plate with the mini!

:) thanks callum for that confidence booster!

See with experiences on both car. The mini wins hand down interms of handling, but the cinq is more of an all round car.

But if you can have both :D !!! Good luck with sale mate, looks a clean car! And good luck finding a good cinq too :) . I'll keep you updated if there are any decent ones! The cinq have the best community :p .

Ming

aaah right, cheers for the heads up! although i imagine that the cinq's handling is still pretty nifty? the 1.2 looks and sounds good, looks fun! a 5spd box doesnt go a miss either, kind of fed up with 4 geared cars right now if a longer distance is needed!

Cheers man i'd appreciate a heads up on a nice one! Whats the best engine size, 1.2?

Well 1.2 is the easiest conversion to do on the sporting. But most of us are planning to drop the 1.4 16v in it for next year!

Don't worry about the engine size, try and find a good shell (the obvious place they rust are the rear arches, check the coners of the boot. But seeing most have done the 1.2 conversion, finding a 1.2 cinq is just a matter of time!

get a seicento, same cars just abit rounder and there generally in better condition rust wise... pluss im fed up of everyone having cinqs there too common at these meets! where are all the seisss

That one there is mint Ming! cool example, bit out of the price range right now, looking for something about the value of my Fiesta so about 400-600 i wouldnt mind too much :) not looking for a MINT example though, as i should only have to run it a year maybe, but a bit of extra oomph is good in my books!

don't bother getting one if you are only wanting one for a year, cos you just end up getting addicted. :p

Don't listen to steve, he's just jealouse of the cinq. As a general rule of thumb, Cinq is for boys, sei is for girls.

:) who knows if i keep one for a year, if i like it i will have time to do a 1.4 swap once my mini's back :D sound like a deal? Only if you find me a decent priced one ;)

hmmmm
