Well.

I had absolutely no intention of buying a Fiat of any description, not at all, not ever!

That was until I spotted this rather gorgeous car on A Dealer's website locally...I'd happened to mention to someone I knew that I thought my old car (Nissan Primera 2.0l SLX on an L plate) was going to fail the MOT on umpteen things and she suggested checking out where she worked.

My fella drives an Avensis estate and raves about it, as does his boss (he's on his third). I spotted a five year old Avensis hatchback with 32,000 or so miles on it and rang up to arrange a testdrive that evening. I carried on browsing, though, and found a 3 year old Stilo for £1,000 more with the same mileage and was really impressed with the styling and the performance figures.

Took the Stilo for a testdrive, totally ignored the Avensis, and that was it, the sale was made.

Had the Stilo for a week and a half now. Still figuring out things like resetting the trip computer, and had an odd fault with the computer which kept telling me I had a brake light fail when I hadn't (that resolved itself the same day it appeared). But I took it down to Birmingham airport last weekend and drove it back and it has pretty much the same performance as the Primera!

Oh: it's a 1.4 Stilo Active 3 door (I don't know the name of the colour, but I love it) and I've called it Monty.

Why?

This is why...

HI and welcome to the forum :D

Take a look round the Stilo section, tons of help and advice down there?!

EDIT - not sure about your pics, have you checked where they are hosted? Even the direct links give me errors.

Welcome to the stilo massive ..the car seems to have that magical affect on many of us (y)

Well, if that isn't the weirdest thing?

There are two pictures showing now, both the same, and neither is the one I intended to post!

(The sticker is from the state of Vermont in the North-Eastern US, a present brought back by a friend).
