Hello, after selling my 2005 Multiplay many years ago for a more expensive German brand, now the next gen needs their 1st car so we've always liked the Panda instead of the more expensive 500. Before i go and buy an old one with a budget of 3K, what should i look out for? the car i'm currently looking at has an advisory on the rear subframe but it did pass? FIAT and rust!! here we go AGAIN!!

Petrol pandas are mechanically pretty sound 👍

Coolant system can be a bit needy with age.. ( hard on Headgaskets if coolant level drops) 😔

Rear subframe, often scabby looking,

BUT - structural failure will basically write the car off, lots of hours to replace the failed parts 🤔

Potentially why it is now being sold on

£3k is plenty of money for a panda..

They are significantly "less valuable" than a 500, and cheaper to keep also
