Hi Guys

Justr changed the clutch on a 51 Bravo JTD. worked fine for 5 mins and now refuses to start! Have changed crank sensor, no warning lights aside from flashing Pre heater coil light. Did that before clutch anyway....Fule at injectors, pump runs correctly when ignition switch on for about 10 secs..have bled system up to all injectors...... now pulling whats left of my hair out!

What else could stop it...Please any thoughts out there?

Cant help directly but I did a Search using the words "JTD wont start" and came up with the below Link, most are poor running to be honest but until someone way smarter than me comes along take a look through these.

Hi and many thanks, have crawled alover the site..but will have to tow to a diesel specialist near here this pm.

Hi All....well the diesel specialist eventually found that main pump was not being told to deliver high pressure and only 4 Bar at the rail!(the electric pump only) . Howver after digging for 6 hours, he found a burnt out track in the Emu, that is an earth track. This he looped with a piece of wire and away she went. Aparently these burn out if there is a faulty earth else where!

What do you think out there people?

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is an EMU? is it the same as ECU?

I have a similar problem in a Scudo, so would be interested in knowing.

Thanks

Thanks for that Davren.

I think my injectors could be faulty, so before I rip into my ECU and check the earths, I'm going to check the return flow on the injectors.
