hello new owner

New owner here, just ordered evo sporting yesterday and will get car in 6 to 8 weeks, as there was already one ordered in system by an Arnold Clark dealer and I nabbed it.
I looked at some other makes when decided to get a new car (vauxhall, seat, etc)but I already own a Grande Punto and am happy with it and decided to buy updated version
Thought about buying 1.4 8v GP, but salesman agreed with me that it would be very similar in performance to the 1.4 Grande sport that I already, so I had test drive with 1.4 multiAir (105) and thought it was a bit faster than my grande, but it only had 40 miles on clock so I had to watch what I was doing.
I finally went for 1.4 multiair sporting, aas it was only about £70 more than GP after adding on £500 for sideskirts.

How mch faster is sporting ? as they did not have one in stock for me to try out

:wave: Hi Davie,welcome to the forum. Sounds like a nice choice of motor, sorry I can't answer your questions as I haven't driven any of the models you shortlisted. Good news about getting one already on the system as I find the waiting seems never ending.

As soon as you get it don't forget to add some pictures to the members motors section and share your thoughts.

Dont know how to edit posts, but sporting was £700 more, not £70

I am not trading in Grande punto, my 18 year old has just passed test and is getting it, so I will be able to post side by side pictures to show the differences between them
