hello help with aftermarket subwoofer

hi everyone, i have a grande punto 1.3 multijet gp. iv been given a mutant amp, though not sure which type, and a jbl gt5 1204br subwoofer. my car has only standard speakers, and no sub, the jbl is already boxed, which i will keep in boot. i have all the wiring kit, which was used with the sub and amp. anyone have ideas how to wire it? i have been searching other threads, but not sure where to start, and if i need anything else. i have done speaker upgrades before, but this is my first with a sub and amp.

very simple me boy, the back of the stereo (after market, not std) has 2 round plugs 1 white 1 red, plug in cables, in spaghetti is a blue wire called remote, this goes to the amp, run a wire with in line fuse from battery to amp, put a good earth from amp to body, plug in red and white cables, attach speaker wires and thump away, happy thumping lol

ok, thats great cheers, if possible though i want to keep the std headset for the blue n me system and the steering wheel controls. can that be done?

not as far as i know tried that in a bravo, but i might be wrong in a punto someone in the punto section will know for sure
