Hi,
I just bought my first Fiat: Punto 1.2 ELX 5dr. Oct 2000, metalic blue.
It`s ideal for what I now need, and I am delighted with the fuel consumption it delivers. (Previous car was Rover 800 vitesse turbo, 226bhp).
Shame It only has a rad/cass, without cd though.
I am thinking of conecting a cd changer. Was wondering does it need to be same make as the head unit?.
Regards.
Tom.

Hi and welcome.

Not sure what H/U you have, but a compatible Blaupunkt CD changer MAY be what you are after - no doubt a Punto owner will come along soon.

Greeting from the wirral, 99% of h/u have to be the same as the changer itself i have seen multi changer leads which convert, but in most cases the leads are far more expensive than the changer plus the convert leads are only for the major makers e.g Kenwood-Sony i doubt they make them for factory standard h/u.
