Ducato Hello everyone

Hi, my name is Paul. I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

I have a 2010 ducato x250 160 multijet.

I've converted it to a campervan. And because I isolated it with wool we call it the sheep (het schaap)

I hope I can be of service to somebody here. And a hope I can learn lots of stuff I didn't know!

Hi Paul and Welcome

I've Heard of wool being used for Insulation in Houses/Buildings.. (for ECO and Traditional materials)

In a vehicle Weight/Mass could be a factor, is the Wool reasonably lightweight?

I guess it is on the heavy side if you take in account the weight of other more conventional isolation. I chose it because of the way it reacts with the environment. Absorbing watervapor when it is wet and releasing it when it is dry.

If you think of using it. Don't use it on the floor. There the water absorbing quality's work against you!
