Hello there everyone
Im a virgin multipla owner and i was thinking what a fab move i had made in buying this wierd "froggie" type thing
Unfortinatly about 300 miles from where i bought the car the gear change got rougher and rougher The next day i gave the keys to the wife and initally she was delighted but then the dreaded gearbox probs came back with a vengance!! But worse still, i couldnt engage any gear.
I'm sorry to start of my membership with such hastle but i realy thought this was a nice motor and still do, if anyone has any advice then dont be shy.
Have i just bought a car with a buggerd clutch? Or is it the "spring" in the clutch cylinder that i,ve been reading about??
Please tell me that i havent bought a "plug"

slave cylinders are not uncommon.

check the brake fluid reservoir level, it is shared between the brakes and clutch. if it is low then check on top of the gearbox for signs of a leak at the slave cylinder. its a cheap and easy DIY job so fingers crossed thats all the problem is.
