I've been a lurker on here for at least a year and a half and finally got my butt into gear and joined the forum.
Just to let you all know I have had a Mk2 Punto 8v (really regret selling) but currently own a Bug eyed Multipla (was in this at last years MITcar), a Coupe 20vt and a Coupe 20v.
The Multipla is a daily drive for my wife and is the best car we've ever owned. Its the petrol 1.6 16v. Was in quite a sorry state when we got it but it still got from the Midlands to Lands end and back with no gearbox oil.
Anyway since ownership I've changed Gearbox, Clutch, Inner cv gaitor, Front discs/pads, Exhaust Manifold, Down pipe, Complete Exhaust, Cambelt, Drive belts, Fitted towbar, new rear doorcard, Rear bumper, and a new battery.
Next on my wish list is some Coupe alloys and 30mm lowering springs oh and could do with a new sump as it looks like its not gonna last much longer and some top suspension mounts.
As for the Coupes these are projects and will take some time to complete but hopefully will be to a good standard when complete.
As for myself, I used to restore Minis and my most recent build was a turbo'd 1293cc producing 183bhp running 12psi boost. It ate head gaskets though. I rid myself of all mini stuff towards the end of last year and bought the 20vt coupe then the 20v a couple of months later for a bargin price of £228.
Anyway thats me so I'll get back to trawling the forum for info.
