Hello all. Just thought I'd say hello in here having just registered, just finalised the deal that will see me driving a 56 reg 1.4l Grande Punto on Thursday. So what better way so celebrate than joining a community with other Fiat owners.


...and I'll finally be able to get rid of the Toledo of Torment.

well done on gp , what 1.4 is it? 8 or 16v? turbo?
i love my gp, shes a little 1.3 diesel but is a lovely car

1.4l 8v GP. 35k on the clock and in very nice condition.

Insurance company claims its a 1.2l though, but all documentation from the dealer says that it is a 1.4l

realy? score lol, my guess for that is because they fazed out the 1.2, and replaced with the 1.4, perhaps there was a mix up with the vin, or reg plates and engine numbers or something

In addition, is the standard radio easy to remove and replace with a facia/non-standard radio?

tbh i dont know, as i like it so never investigated it though. it will be possible though, if you look through the grane punto section, or the ice section, therel be a thread in there somewhere about it.

The deed is done and I am now the proud owner of said Punto as mentioned above A fantastic little car that is so quiet when stationary that I thought it had stalled or cut out quite a few times. I am now a Fiat driver!

did you find out about the fascia? iv seen online you can get fascias, need some more info on it though because iv got a sub for my car, but now want a better hu to get most out of it, as well as maybe a screen on it to for movies and that lol
now your a fiat driver youl never want to drive anything else lol
