Hiya all. I proudly own a blue Punto elx, 1.2l -5 door manual petrol for 5 yrs now. I opened Pandora’s box when I recently started to look on ebay for a drivers side sun visor, since mine suddenly decided to give up its soul, while I was doing a mere 60m on the motorway. Seeing what is available on ebay wet me appetite to do more on the car. I’d already swapped the factory built cassette player with a new blue-tooth stereo a few months ago, fitting the facial & all myself (quite chaffed with it). The forum has been a good source for info and I thought I might register as well, now that I want to do more on the car. The sincerity of the members and the quality of the advice given are second to none! Next jobs on my agenda: Upgrading central locking with a remote control unit (already bidding for the kit) and more importantly, I need a new tailgate, since last year, I reversed into a poll. The dent is not too big put panel beaters want an arm & a leg for it! There are quite a few breakers on ebay. I might be able to source a second hand one in the right colour cheaply so I only need the window & lock swapped. Well, that’s the idea anyway. Hi again to all …
