Hello from Dublin, thought i'd sign on because my handles are driving me mad

I've a '00 punto 3dr, the handles stay up when you open either door, if you don't push them down before getting into the car the door won't close! Is this just my machine or are they all like this???

Mine did exactly this on my cento! And recently fixed during its MOT for free

I think the mechanism was just sticking and needed oiling, its the same handle as it has a huge scratch still on mine maybe the mechanism was replaced.

Just my thoughts but you are not alone on this
