I'm 17 years old and will be buying my first car in a couple of weeks.

It's a Fiat Punto 55 SX 1.1L 5Dr 1996.

Any recommendations on insurance, for third party & provisional?

Cheapest I got so far is £878 off quinn-direct. I think that's pretty good, but I was wondering if there were any tips you lot could give me, because the cheaper the better.

Also, I know that'll spike to around 2k when I pass, so I'll be looking for cheaper for full licenses. Cheapest i've found so far is about £1.3-4k with DirectLine. I think I can do better.

I know of this FiatForum insurance, but it says you have to be 22 or over to be eligiable for the offer.

I have always found norich union simple cover to be the cheapest have a look on there website

I'm insured with Elephant.co.uk. Cheapest by miles when i was looking for a renewal.

Elephant were awful, around £3k if I remember correctly.

Oh yeah. You try getting a number for norich union, you might hit a brick wall. Try Norwich Union instead.
