Hey there,
Just took delivery of a 1965 1100D Familiare. Any 1100 owners out there?
I have an issue right away. Car runs great, but the brake pedal seems to get stuck about an inch from the floor and then pops back up a few seconds later. The car does brake, but with the pedal pretty close to the floor. It wasn't the low brake fluid that was responsible. It seems lite there is supposed to be a spring somewhere that pops it back up, or it might be the master cylinder. Would love to ask some questions to an experienced owner/mechanic.
