remember when my car got fixed but after a few test drives the fan wouldnt seem to kick in?.
well im hoping to get it mot'd next month so today i thought id have a go at bleeding the system properly.I had a nosey at the guide for the hgt,but on my rad i only 1 bleed screw on the left..
Anyway, got it running, and left it running for ages and the pipes were really hot but i couldnt see what temp it was as my clocks not workin (hoping its a fuse or just my duff battery),i bled all 3 points (rad,1 on the head and the rear pipe)and water came out and so did a bit of air (ended up with crap in my eyes lol). After a while the fans finally came on
so left it running still for a good while and it kept kicking in..so jobs a good 'un,no need for a new thermo or puttin a switch on my rad.
Ready for its mot now
