General Heating dial bulbs

Does anyone know what size the bulbs behind the heating dials are?

I have had a look but didn't see a bulb size suppose it was 3 in the morning ?

Bulb BU286 cost about 15p each (or a couple of quid from half-frauds)

recommend you dont do it at 3 am as you might lose a few bolts in the dark .!

I personally wouldn't use them, although think someone on the forum has used them. I am wary about LED's when the system has not been designed for them ,and a brighter light on the dash doesn't seen a good idea to me. So I stuck to 'original' replacements.

I agree about brighter lights not being a good idea, but they are well out of normal line of sight when driving. I was thinking more of reliability, as they are on all the time the ignition is on.
