Has anyone come across a problem where the heater only works at full speed on a 1.4 Bravo?

Positions 1 through 3 do nothing, position 4 works fine.

Thought we solved this already

Resistor pack required

see same topic futher back, Tom

sorry forgot to mention found the previous post, fixed problem with new resistor.

Local fiat dealership denied all knowledge of such a fault and wanted the car in for a day to solve the problem.

£20 and no more than 2 minutes fixed it!

Cheers

how big a job is it to change the motor?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: heater

Should have it unplugged and out in 10 seconds. It will probably cost a few quid though.....
It is located on the passenger side footwell - (look up in the footwell, near the door side). Unplug the electrics and remove the screw at the back, then 1/4 turn and it will be out. It will need a bit of a wiggle to get past the harness down there, but will not take long. Before you rushh into buying a new one, check that it does not work when you apply a voltage (start with a low one...).
