ok chaps strange one..i have 2 issues but ill make another post to stop clashs of conversations heres

ok wen i start the car. its going to be cold
it warms up after a while and i still hasve cold air blowing out..

the temp line is in the middle so i presume it going to blow hot air but that isnt the case.??

funny thing is i bled the cooling system last week...cos my coolant needed changing..and i needed to put in new antifreeze
dod i mess up somewhere?? i cant have cos once i changed it, i was getting hot air for the first few days and now no more>>its only been a week..if that??

help someone>>

if i rev my car..eventually i get hot air coming out..once i stop..cold air returns.?

i have a 1.2 2001 bravo

maybe there is a leak soemwhere?

i had this with mine, i had a leak in one of my pipes and obviously where water can get out, air can come in so i fixed it and its been great ever sinse

Do you have air con; climate control ?
I ask because there is a difference in bleeding screws and by the sound, you have a air lock in the system.
Plus one more thing, is the coolant level droping, like Shaun asked ?

coolant has slightly decreased but to the max level..so i think that fine

i dont have aircon on this car.

unsure where the airlock might be ..

are you checking coolant when engine is hot or cold? in any event you have too much coolant in. should be midway max and min at running temp

cold it went down..

there was slight leak at the lower pipe
which i have fixed..

however i bled the top rad screw and water poured out
the temp wen to half way but it was still cold air?

unsure what else i can do..

If you didnt, there should be one more bled screw on the pipe coming from the in car radiator. Open that one also till the coolant comes pouring out.
Then turn on the car with the heating ON (max) and rev it every 30 - 45 sec to 4000 rpm till the fan kicks in.

Monitor the coolant level all the time, it has to stay over the MIN mark all the time.
