Technical Heater Plug Coil On Dashboard?

Can you help with this NEW fault discovered this morning. I have a 2003 Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD. 60000 miles. This morning the car started fine , as usual. However within about 20 seconds of starting the little orange coil type indicator light on the dash comes on and slowly flashes for a few miles until tha car warms up?
What does this mean please.

Hi again. If you search the forum on this one, it's quite a common issue. It's one or more of the glow plugs failed. Will need doing eventually but don't panic. Mine had two of the four gone for months, but it stil started fine. It could also be the glow plug relay but none of these things are dreadfully expensive.

Thanks, I should have read the forum better before placing the request for help.... I will take them out one at a time in the spring and hope its one of the easier ones that has failed....All the best.
