I have just recieved my pioneer p80mp headunit i thought it would be fairly easy to fit how wrong could i be, the day started bad when the subs were delivered and one has got a rip in it so thats got to go back then come to fit the headunit and no chance with that amount of wires has anyone got an idea of how i can get it to fit into a punto mk2 2002, this is going to end up being expensive if i have to get it fitted PLEASE HELP!!!
:( :bang:

I Think i have got how to connect all the wires up although the wiring diagrams in the instructions arent actually much help but th wiring loom which comes with the head unit is so big and got loads of fuse connectors on it , i cant get it to fit in behind the headunit and therefore cant push it in far enough, how can i get access to the wires so i can move them out the way. If i cant end up doing it myself its gonna cost me about £70 to get it all fitted apparently which im not really wanting to pay ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY RECIEVED!!!! THANK YOU!

My headunit has loads of wires with it all I did was sit there for ages fiddling with it and pushing them right back into the dash to the right hand side. It was really frustrating because the headunit was connected up and I had to stick my hand through the small gap to push the wires in but it worked in the end........but saying that, yours mite have more wires

Another thing I had to do was take the black stud thing out which screws into the HU and keeps it stable once its fitted.......it wouldnt fit in the hole in the dash. Have you tried this??

I havent tried it no il have a go tomorrow when i get back from work hopefully it isnt too dark like tonight, has anyone got an amp fitted in there car and if so what side did you feed the wires down i have managed to get some fed through the passenger side down behind the glovebox it was a pain but i got there would it be easier to do it on the drivers side so i could pull the wires down into that gap becasue its bigger on the right and i might be able to fit the wires in then. Thanx for all yor help by the way and just a quick question where would i be able to get a decent exhaust and lowering kit from has anyone got any sites?
