Technical Headlights are on even when the stalk switch is off.

Hello!
Today I've noticed that my headlights are on even though the stalk switch is on the off position. If I change to/from full beam it does without problems.

Is this a safety feature in some way where it'll keep them on if a fuse has gone or similar? Any help would be appreciated.

You need a new indicator switch, fairly common issue. Good second hand one will do the trick

I'm in Barnsley. I've spoken to an Auto Electronic guy who agrees it's the switch (we've done some testing with the relays and they're still on if we swapped the light relays over) so he's back open in another week.
