does anyone have a pic of where to put the masking tape on the headlights to keep them legal abroad? - off tomorrow first thing, I may have left this too late!

yes it's the £7.99 I baulk at! I go over about once a month in my golf, but this time it's the first road trip in the new (to me ..) B ...
While it is a requirement, and one that might earn you a fine if you don't, I believe that many b owners have not bothered with them.
Early b's had a film on the outside of the lights and you would not want to place anything on that.
Oh and if you have not changed your headlights to HID or some other shiny thing then the original lamps on the B are notoriously poor you're not going to blind anyone.
I've not been stopped yet when driving in mainland europe, I think being LHD helps.

yeah, I think I'll go with that .. I've got shiny jackets, triangles and everything else
