Hi

Does anybody know where I could get a rhs headlight for my 1988 Ducato. She's a rhd vehicle. The reflector is gone and she failed the DOE. Can I botch up the reflector to get me through?

Thanks.

Thanks tried but no joy. Found some German website and they have new headlamps for €39 plus delivery, but only lhd. (n)

our local scrapyard always had one in there,
but it's a "strip-it-yourself" place,

have you tried Talbot and the Citroens.. ( J5..????)

Thanks Charlie. The yards here are fussy, they only want newish stuff. The ones I have spoken to haven't had parts for one of those for over a decade! :)

I have found some guy on ebay who is breaking one, I have emailed him, so we'll see...

I'm heading into deeper countryside tomorrow so I'll ask at a few more "rustic" yards! :D

there is a headlight thread on the talbotoc forum which confirms that the headlights for daf44 trucks are identical to the ducato / talbot express (even down to part numbers) and are much cheaper than the `rare` ducato light units. hope this helps.

Hi all, and especially Alfavan who mentioned he had found a German website for LHD headlights, which is what I need. Could you please give me the link?
Thanks
Rob

I bought one this year from www.augustin-group.de. Cost was €32.77 net.
However the mounting brackets were slightly different to original, and so a bitch to fit. The headlight also leaked from new( took in water) . They will do if you are badly stuck.

Many thanks! My Internet here in France has been playing up so I haven't had a chance to checkout the links yet but will do asap. Thanks again to all.

Just to let you know that I finally bought them on Ebay France from the UK company below. 101.8€ for the pair and 15.26€ delivered to me here in France. I've just fitted them with no problems and they look decent quality. Overall a good deal IMHO. Note they only supply for LHD vehicles but they provide lens adapters which they say are UK legal. Thanks to you all for your advice. Happy motoring!
