Head unit and subs trouble

My head unit doesn't have subwoofer outlets on the back of it for some reason. Now i am crap at this sort of thing so i got my mate to have a look at it for me. At the mo i just have my subs connected to my back speakers.

Can any body help me on this because i cant use my amp and its baffeled my mate

I cba buyin a new HU but i might be able to swap mine with me mates but his is considerabley ****ter than mine

TBH you most probably dont have any pre outs.if you want a decent set up then the HU is the heart of the system

and for £50 you cant really complain.i got my kenwood minidisc mask HU 2nd hand for bout £100
that has 3 sets of pre outs inc 1 non fading for the sub

Unless your amp has speaker level inputs, then you need to get a HU with RCAs TBH.

And I wouldn't recommend running your subs directly off the HU
