Having trouble finding one more 147 Handle

I got a 147 handle from ebay a while back for about £15. Thought I'd hold out for another to turn upfor the other side, but nothing's come up yet, so I'm getting impatient.

Tried phoning Auto Continental and the guy says "They're selling really well at the moment for some reason" !! Wonder why that could be!

Does anyone know of anywhere else that can supply 147 parts? I asked a breakers yard and they said that all Alfa's get taken away somewhere else (Auto COntinntal perhaps!?)

wot other parts u after... I know where there's 1/... bit of a t-total and hasn't got any front seats no more but im sure i can have a look wot other parts are about.......

I just phoned Simpsons Salvage and they want £25 + VAT, + £12 delivery for one handle! That's £41. A bit steep when a brand new one is £55!

So I'll phone Avon Autospares if you don't reply soon Tommy K! Don't want to nick it from you if you were really after it!

OK Mate, It's actually been sitting in my car ever since the dash job, so I can get it to you next time I'm over that way!

Just need to lower her and get an mot done! alll is blue (well the tailgate needs to be sprayed but that is have some bits and bobs done to it first, should have that back this weekend!

Just need to fit the interior and ice.. but i will be able to sort some extrior pictures out soon!

Just for the record (and if anyone searches and finds this post at some point in the future looking for alfa handles)

I just bought one more Alfa handle from Avon Spares, Rugby, 01788 54 00 77.
It cost £20 , plus vat and postage = £32.90

Glad they could help u out.... really good chaps there.. bought quite a bit from there over my time.. its not the cheapest.. but they are good people!

I'll try and do a mini guide, I'm a bit scared to start cos the lock barrels apparently need modifying to fit!
May start with the drivers side one I've already got some time this week.

Can anyone explain the modifications I need to do?

WThey weren't f**king good to me at all!

tried ripping me off!!!

They quoted me £25 for the door cards i wanted...went out and stripped them of myself and came back and he wanted £35 all of a sudden!

wa**er in my book...go the arse ache when i asked for a clothe to see if the scuffs rubbed off! ripped the cards out of my hands and said come back next week and he will have them cleaned and will cost me another £20!!!

after alot of shouting i had the cards for £25 and he gave me a dry rag to just check! which is all i wanted!

wont be going back there in a hurry!

paul ur the git who had them door cards out that green 1.8 then! i was gonna have them to make some door builds. he only wanted £20 off me for both but then he knows my face as im allways there!

next time u need something from there go in real shitty dirty clothes (greesy overals r betta) talk like a **** and u will get on wit erm like a house on fire they will even lend u some decent tools and give u a hand
