Morning, I think the bearings on my 53 plate MW are going. Theirs a great deal of humming coming from the rear wheel. Just wondering if anyone has took on the job themselves and knows any tips to make it easier.

As most of the cost is in the bearing then I'd investigate fitting a whole new hub with bearing.
Bish bosh -OFF- eerg squeeze- ON. Job done

Lots have had ABS warnings afterwards when fitting new bearing alone as there's different type bearings and they need to be fitted carefully, best installed with a strong press and not simply bashed in

Mine was a complete hub assembly cheapest was Fiat main dealer £35ish I think.
You will need a big torque wrench about 280lbs if I remember correctly apart from that easy job.
Good Luck
