The wife went back to driving the Tipo today after having had my Bravo for a week, her first complaint was that she feels every bump in the road - tried it myself, and it does seem to have a very hard ride. Has just passed MOT so I guess there's nothing major wrong with it, any ideas as to what the problem may be or how to improve the ride quality?

Cheers

The tipo doesnt compare well to the bravo when it comes to comfort I am afraid you could spend loads changing springs shocks and bushes and still have a much harser ride than the bravo

as you are getting noises from the suspension/drives what milage is on the car and does it seem to wander or roll alot when cornering

91500 miles on it, handling seems a little rolly, but then it always has been - Tipo's aren't renowned for their handling ability in standard spec!

A new set of springs and shocks would work wonders there wouldnt be much point just fitting shock as at 90000 the springs would be soft (In my opinion they are a bit too weak even new) and the shocks wouldnt last too long. when the springs get on a bit the car feels soft but yet every bump or pothole you hit would rattle your teeth. But even with new shocks and springs it wont be as nice as the bravo.
