Don't know if anyone has tried these boots yet, but I popped a full set on the van 25k ago, mainly motorway miles covered, rears 8mm left, fronts 2mm left!!!
Guess I'm off tyre shopping tomorrow !
Good wet grip, but worst wear rate I've ever seen,
Orig conti 4 season m+s and then Goodyear G91 both did 80k per set,

Don't waste your £ on the vantra's

Ok 25k ain't great they are a fairly soft tyre what was the load rating in them ?
If they were swooped round on service they would of lasted longer aswell

10ply's fitted, oh they've just been swapped, they would be awesome tyres if you do low mileage, but I do 100k a year, longevity is paramount, conti & mich next, once I've remortgaged lol

What's the numbers after the diameter on the side of the tyre ?

Why may I ask?
They're 116 10ply

Might be referring to treadwear. Treadwear I discovered lately is a load of old bull as its only in reference to a submitted reference Tyre so if the submit a rubbish tyre it makes all the other tyres look good.

Only asked as work in those numbers as a mot tester what's the axle weights of it ?

Resurecting this thread as mt van is in need of new shoes and you've probably gone through a few more sets by now. Any recommendations for a good balance of wet wrip and and longevity.

Bridgestone Duravis R660 are a bloody good longevity tyre and cheap for a top brand, 60k plus

Any conti or Michelin summer boot

I’m currently 2 months into a front pair of Michelin Cross climate’s on the front, wear wise, too early to say
But
Wet grip... WOW stickiest boots I’ve tried yet, which generally means they’ll wear out quicker, time will tell

Are your tyres 15" or 16"?
My 10 year old Relay camper van is 16" - still on the original 225/75 R16C Michelin Agilis. 73,000 miles and about 4mm tread left all round including spare - I have rotated them. Van is at a fairly constant 3300kg, pressure 48psi

Cheers l. Bridgestones look good for summer. Cross Climates are mad money here tread looks like a proper snow tyre, hopefully we wont get 2009 snow anytime soon.
Mine is on 215 65 16 four seasons, good grip but very soft didnt find them great wear wise but I do very litte motorway mostly windy secondary roads so fronts tend to wear quickly with all the cornering.

Other than the fourseason the only decent brand all seasons I can get at a sensible price are Pirelli Cross Contact and Vredestein Comtrac 2.
