Sorted it myself thanks, 2 side panels pull off either side at the front of the centre console, there is 2 screws to undo, then at the back end of the hand brake cover area the plastic centre piece just clips off and reveales the nut to ajust the hand brake, then when ajusted the plastic centre bit just clicks back into its holding clips and away you go, a 10 minute job which would have cost plenty at a garage.
