I skidding on a patch of ice tonight, tried to brake but didnt work, tried handbrake still no good so ended up in the back of a ZR... only very minor scuff on there car...wondering how much around it will cost to fix i.e polish out. Jut curious so the bitch don't rip me off. cheers.

Depend whether it can be polished out or if it will need to be re-sprayed.

The garage will go with the spray because it will mean more work for them and will make the best finnish.

Probably looking at between £200 - £500, but this will depend on the damage.

The scratch was about an inch long, she had trouble finding it. Would it really cost that much for that?

Are you sure that the scratch was from your car????

Easiest thing to do would be to ask her see if she will let you have a go at removing the scratch with t-cut and if it doesn't remove it then go to plan B.

The problam you got is that if she goes to a garage they will say re-spray it.

If they respray it they will do the complete bumper not just the scratch. It will quite easily cost that.

It can cost alot or not alot. Depends what they say needs repairing. Maybe theres no visual damage but there maybe damage behind the bumper etc. Some garages know how to add to the cost.
