What up dudes/dudettes? :p

appologies for pretty much dissapearing for the last week/month. Uni work...uni work, study trip to paris, more stupid deadlines (and people say art school is easy?!) Hopefully things have slowed down for a week or so thus I can catch up :)

However as some of you may know from facebook, the Bravo may soon be going. Long story short 2002 Civic coupe em2 1.7 vtec + cash for Bravo. Dads bored of the bravo now after 4 years. Too slow (he's always said that :L) As a bonus and main point i've now had my license a full year and thus insurance is only 18 quid more a month than current.

Main plus points - coupe body so hopefully less body roll!
not full vtec - only on inlet cams but still vtec :)
130 horses
3 seconds quicker to 60 than the bravo
Dad and I both like it :S !

Bad points...emm Its not a fiat? =/
not 5 doors / HOPING I can still get my DH bike in it.
Oh it's down in a garage outside leeds...

Viewing a green (eww) one on sunday back home just to see one properly, as making the trip to find out the interior is dodgy or its not comfortable etc would be a pain..!

Feel free to post up thoughts on here and I'll keep you updated via here and fb as too what happens.

there a great drive though, you should get a small car to come autotesting in. make it a fiat :p

They not pretty much same as EG/EK chassis?

It's from the same line as the EP3, so there were a few things changed. Think the overall dimensions are very similar, but the suspension was changed somewhat.

As said on FB, it's a fairly uncommon car so certainly not the default Civic I guess. Modded right it does look pretty smart too and given it's Jap, there'll be plenty out there to spend a pile of cash on. Sounds like it'll be fun though :D

I think the way the forum's going though, it'll almost be a necessity to expand the JDM side of it

hmm my new possibilty is jap but not a lot of mods available for it

may aswell start calling the site world car forum :D not a lot of fiats rolling here latley :D

It's amazing how much time uni work takes up, I've had to pretty much cut out all the good stuff just to concentrate on my dissertation. Thankfully that's handed in now so can get back to enjoying the banter here.

hmm, maybe ah could do this with the cinq if/when the new one comes

Yeah and it seems everyone wants a JDM car too lol.

Nope, ah don't. Next car will be Fiat, after Gill had to ride shotgun in the cinq the other day when her car was in for MOT she was asking how soon could I get my 500 LOL

ha you want my seicento :D shouldnt be to long in finishing it off just a mount and then an brake pipe and MOT time and since the new car may be here shortly i dont have the money or the space to keep it around much :D so will be going cheap id say :D

Well...saw a local one earlier today. Me nor my dad can fit in it. My bike won't fit in either. So bravo is staying, and tbh I'm not that gutted. Once bravo gets up to speed she blasts along nicely. Interior of this one wasn't leather but compared to bravo didn't cut it. Offer from garage down south was pretty crap as well, offered 1.4k less than bravo is worth according to what car trade in.

The only bit of getting coupe would be for the engine...which isn't really a big enough step up from bravo to warrant the other problems.

So password:JDM tow hook for bravo anyone?

Sorry to hear you's couldn't go for it, surprised it was so cramped though. I've only driven an EG Civic and there was plenty of room for me (6ft), but I guess it's what you'd be comfortable with and not sure if they changed things that much with the EM2.

With trade-ins though, you'll always get the worst deal for the car you've got. Normally, you'll get the most selling privately and personally even though it's a hassle, that's what I'd do to get the most amount of spending money for another car. Though obviously with a trade you're getting another car right away so you won't be without a car for a time or have to have a car to sell on yourself while driving the new one.

Anyway, if you're still on the hunt for a replacement good luck with it :)
